Britney Spears Clarifies Her Post Calling Out Women Judging Other Women: It's Not About Selena Gomez

Britney Spears is speaking out.

The 40-year-old Glory pop singer shared a series of text photos on her Instagram on Wednesday (October 26) after posting a caption one day before calling out female stars for hypocritical behavior, which left many fans in the comments and media outlets speculating about who it was about.

The caption saw Britney calling out “women who stand firmly getting awards and speak on their beliefs about not showing their bodies on Instagram,” and who get “4 million dollar budget videos made about sucking and licking on homemade ice cream.”

One guess that was prevalent on social media was that it had to do with Selena Gomez based on a speech she made years before, as well as her music video for “Ice Cream” with BLACKPINK.

Now, Britney is speaking out about what she actually meant, and who she was talking about.

“Let me clarify about me sharing my beliefs on women judging other women for their own rights in expressing themselves,” Britney began in her post.
