Jerry Lee Lewis Confirmed to Be Still Alive Amid Death Headlines

Jerry Lee Lewis is not dead.

The 87-year-old rock ‘n’ roll legend became the subject of death rumors on Wednesday (October 26), with many people sharing their condolences after TMZ wrongly claimed that he had passed away.

However, he is very much still alive and living in Memphis, Tenn.

“Earlier today we were told by someone claiming to be Lewis‘ rep that he had passed. That turned out not to be the case. TMZ regrets the error,” the outlet clarified.

The legendary musician suffered a minor stroke back in 2019. As of last year, he was broadcasting the “Rockin’ At the Ranch” live stream events from The Lewis Ranch.
