“Jamie Lee Curtis has long since proven that she has staying power,” Leonard Maltin, the man behind the name of the award, said. “People want to watch her, whether it’s in a Halloween movie or an offbeat character role. She’s talented and charismatic, and in the process does her movie star parents proud.”
She will pick up the trophy on February 11, 2023 and will also reflect on her career during an interview with Leonard.
In case you missed it, Jamie reflected on her legacy while attending the Halloween Ends premiere earlier this month. The actress was seen getting emotional while talking about the movie during New York Comic Con.
She also teased an idea for a sequel to one of her classic films from the early aughts. Spoiler alert: It has to do with Lindsay Lohan!
