Rihanna Heads to the Beach & Teases 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' Scenes In 'Lift Me Up' Music Video - Watch It Here!

Rihanna released her first music videos in almost exactly five years.

The 34-year-old “Diamonds” superstar contributed a new song called “Lift Me Up” to the soundtrack of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Her long-awaited comeback single is a musical tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman, who portrayed the Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Its accompanying music video is an appropriately somber affair.

Directed by Autumn Durald Arkapaw, the visual features footage of Rihanna at the beach as a bonfire burns nearby. It is interspersed with scenes from the movie.

The hitmaker joined the cast at the movie’s world premiere earlier this week.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever premieres in theaters on November 11. Check out what critics are saying about it and make sure to watch the trailer.

It is widely assumed that “Lift Me Up” will jump-start Rihanna‘s musical comeback. We’re sure to learn more in the lead-up to her performance at the 2023 Super Bowl.
