Kanye West Restricted by Instagram Again - Find Out Why

Kanye West’s account is temporarily restricted again.

The 45-year-old rapper’s Instagram account was restricted again by Facebook‘s parent company Meta, which confirmed the news on Monday (October 31) to Billboard.

A spokesperson confirmed that the account was restricted to violation policies.

The spokesperson did not confirm specific posts that led to the latest restriction, but confirmed that the unspecified posts violating the platform’s standards. The rep also noted that Instagram can restrict accounts that repeatedly break its rules, which can limit a user’s ability to post, comment or send direct messages.

This time, it’s been locked for 30 days.

Complex notes that Ye seemingly appeared to address this new restriction on Parler, which he said he plans to purchase.

“Got kicked off Instagram for 30 days for telling Russel Simmons that I was going to make ‘you know who’ have better contracts and business practices. Jesus is king,” he reportedly wrote.
