Britney Spears Shares Update On Her Memoir & Slams Reports of Paper Shortage Delaying Release

Britney Spears is speaking out about her highly anticipated memoir.

The 40-year-old Glory superstar teased plans to write on a book about her life and has provided multiple updates about the writing process on social media. However, a release date has yet to surface.

She opened up about the project and slammed reports about a possible delayed release in a new post.

Britney mentioned that she was working on a book in an apology that was seemingly directed to Zoey 101 actress Alexa Nikolas.

“I wrote 3 different versions of a book and since then, honestly it’s been the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do,” she said. “And if you HAVEN’T HEARD already it’s become a joke because TMZ News says I ran out of paper.”

“I’m also sure they get a good laugh at seeing me on my Instagram,” she added, seemingly in reference to her teasing the writing process on social media.

If you missed it, earlier this summer a report emerged that her book release might be delayed due to a paper shortage. A report in February suggested that she signed a massive publishing deal. However, so far nothing has been confirmed.
