1. Justin Timberlake likely doesn’t even know he was considered for Mr. Schuester role

The cliffhanger in part one of the podcast was that Ryan wrote the role of Mr. Schue with Justin Timberlake in mind.

“I don’t think even Justin Timberlake knows this, but there was like a one-week window in talking to his people where I thought maybe he was interested, but maybe that meant interested in having a script dropped off at his front door,” he said. “That was our idea for Mr. Schue, Justin Timberlake. Then it was very quickly like, ‘Justin is booked for tours through 2013.’ So then it was like, no Justin Timberlake.”

The role went to Matthew Morrison.
