Nick Carter Cries As Backstreet Boys Pay Tribute To Aaron Carter During London Concert

Nick Carter is grieving his brother, Aaron.

Just a day after it was revealed that Aaron had passed away at the age of 34, the Backstreet Boys went on with their show at the O2 Arena in London and paid tribute to him.

After playing “No Place” during their Sunday, November 6 concert, a montage of photos were shown on the giant screens.

Nick was seen shedding tears over the tribute as bandmate Kevin Richardson spoke to the crowd.

“That song is very special to us because that song is about family,” Kevin shared on stage, via a fan video. “Everybody in here, we all grew up together. We’ve been through highs and lows, ups and downs. You guys have been through it with us; we’ve been through it with you. We thank you for taking us on that journey with you. We thank you for being a part of the Backstreet family for 29 years. We thank you for all the love fo all the years.”

Just before he mentioned Aaron‘s death, Nick started to break down and shed some tears.

That’s when his other three bandmates – A.J. McLean, Brian Littrell and Howie Dorough – embraced him in a hug.

“Tonight we’ve got heavy hearts because we lost one of our family members yesterday, and we just wanted to find a moment in our show to recognize him,” Kevin added. “Nick’s little brother, Aaron Carter passed away yesterday at [34] years old. He’s a part of our family. We thank you guys for all the love and the well wishes and all your support.”

Howie then added, “We’d like to dedicate this song to our little brother, Aaron Carter. … May he rest in heaven.”

Just hours earlier, Nick paid tribute to Aaron on social media.
