Man Arrested for Throwing Eggs at King Charles & Queen Consort Camilla, Video Emerges of Incident
A man has been detained by police after appearing to throw eggs at the King and Queen Consort in York.

According to the BBC, who also published the above video, the 23-year-old man was arrested after allegedly screaming “this country was built on the blood of slaves” while throwing the eggs.
The King and Queen Consort were not hit and continued their royal duties while being ushered away from the site of the egging. Members of the crowd did shame him, saying, “God save the King” and “shame on yoy.”
He was arrested “on suspicion of a public order” and remains in custody at this time.
