Here's Why Joe Jonas & Sophie Turner Keep Their Family Life As Private As Possible

Joe Jonas likes to keep his family life on the private side.

The 33-year-old DNCE frontman is married to Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner, 26, and they share two children together – a 2-year-old daughter named Willa and a newborn who arrived this July.

He opened up about his conscious decision to keep his family out of the news during a recent interview.

The hitmaker explained that keeping his family life private lets him hold onto something that is only his while sharing so much else with the public.

“I want to feel like an open book,” Joe told Mr. Porter. “But when we started dating, I realized that I didn’t have a ton of stuff that was just for me. And in the end, it makes me a better person to have something for myself.”

That doesn’t mean that Joe minds being in the public eye. “I’m still so grateful to do this, so if being in the public eye comes with some of that drama and the eye rolling and if you have to swat some beef with a person you met once, then so be it,” he said.

Sophie has previously slammed photographers for trying to sneak pics of Willa.
