Yasmine Al-Bustami had a major story arc on tonight’s new episode of NCIS: Hawai’i.

After watching the episode, many fans are questioning if the 28-year-old actress, who plays Lucy Tara, will be back.

In the episode, fans learned that when Lucy and her girlfriend, Kate (Tori Anderson), were broken up in the last few episodes of season, Lucy had applied for the NCIS Agent afloat position – and she got the job.

However, Lucy is now back with Kate and struggled if she wanted to take the job at all in the episode. After a reassuring talk from Kate on the beach in the final moments of the episode, Lucy decides to take the job, which will last for four months time on the show.

Now though, fans are wondering if Yasmine is gone for good, or just how many episodes she will be gone from the show.

Don’t worry about Yasmine leaving, because she’s not. Announced last week, she’ll actually be part of the three-way franchise crossover event.

However, it hasn’t been announced if she’ll miss any more episodes beyond the two still planned out for the rest of 2022.
