Zoe Kravitz is addressing the future of Big Little Lies.

In a new interview, the 33-year-old actress revealed if there are any plans for a third season of the hit HBO series, which she starred in alongside Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley, and Laura Dern.

In a TikTok posted by GQ, Zoe answered questions from fans on social media, and one fan asked, “When is Big Little Lies coming back on?!”

Zoe then shared the unfortunate news that we are most likely never going to get a third season.

“I don’t think it is,” Zoe answered. “We talked about doing a season three a lot, but unfortunately, Jean-Marc Vallée, our incredible director, passed away this last year and I just can’t imagine going on without him.”

Zoe added, “He really was the visionary for that show. So, unfortunately, it’s done.”

Jean-Marc suddenly passed away at the age of 58 back in December 2021.

Big Little Lies – based on the 2014 novel of the same name by Liane Moriarty — premiered on HBO in 2017. The first season won countless awards, including eight Emmys, four Globe Globes, and two SAG awards.

The show then returned for a second season in 2019.
