Bradley Cooper is taking on an iconic role.

Deadline broke the news and noted that Bradley is expected to also act as a producer. The movie’s script will be written by Josh Singer, and Steve‘s son Chad and granddaughter Molly McQueen will also be involved in production.
The original movie centers on Frank, a cop who is looking for a criminal, and features what is described as “one of the most famous car-chase scenes in cinema history.”
We don’t know much about the project just yet. However, it is believed that this will be a new entry to the franchise instead of a retelling of the first movie.
Bradley and Steven were reportedly in talks about the project since the early days of the pandemic. They are also working together on the Netflix movie Maestro, which is due next year.
