Britney Spears Reveals How She Reacted to Niece Maddie's Terrible ATV Accident & Seemingly Disses Sister Jamie Lynn's New Show In New Statement

Britney Spears opened up about her family and her relationship with faith in a new statement shared on social media.

The 30-year-old pop star put various members of her family on blast and revealed the devastating reaction she had to the news that her niece Maddie – Jamie Lynn Spears‘ daughter – was hurt in a terrible ATV accident back in 2017.

Britney claimed that she was with her mom Lynn and brother Bryan Spears the day that the accident took place.

“My Mom was on the phone … she said Jamie Lynn said something happened … SILENCE … SILENCE … SILENCE !!! She wouldn’t tell me … then she said it … she stopped breathing … we lost her,” she wrote. “My mind was gone completely and absolutely gone … I lost my mind at that moment and I started throwing things !!!”

Instead of offering comfort, Britney said that her brother’s response was to tell her to “control yourself.” He also reportedly told her that she was not safe around the children.

“I stood there crying,” she recalled. “Death is a mystery … we don’t understand it … my mind couldn’t process it !!! F-ck you God … F-ck you God .. F-ck you God is all I wanted to say !!!”

Britney leveled direct claims against her mother and sister, too.

She said that her mom went to court for her because she was “secretly excited to get a lawyer and finally have some contact with my dad by fighting with him in court.”

“Her ex-husband was all she was concerned about,” she wrote after reflecting on a day in court. “I was literally dead to her … not one time did she give me her face and say ‘Baby are you okay?’”

Regarding Jamie Lynn, she appeared to make a dig about her new survival show. “I hear she’s jumping out of planes now !!! Hope she can braethe easily when she does all that … GOOD FOR HER,” she wrote.

“People have no motherf-cking clue how and what my family has done to my heart,” she added.

Britney explained that was why she has shared her story and described her family as “dead to me.”

“My intention in sharing things that happened to me in the past is not to seek pity … it’s to show my family that isolating me and making me feel so separate and unequal caused me to lose my faith in God,” she said.
