Justin Hartley Opens Up About Having His Daughter Isabella In College: 'It's Tough'

Justin Hartley is missing daughter Isabella a little more these days.

During his appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the 45-year-old actor opened up about Isabella being away at college, and how he’s just not used to it quite yet.

“It’s tough when they leave,” Justin admitted. “You think you’re ready for it because as they get older they gain independence and they’re gone a lot anyway. They have their own friends and their own interests and you can go see them.”

He adds that while he still talks to her constantly – it’s more through text versus on the phone.

“When they’re actually gone, it really is a text or a phone call. And you know, she’s 18, so let’s be honest, it’s a text. I’m not getting phone calls, which is normal, but I hate it,” he said.
