Sarah Hyland Reveals She Auditioned For 'Pitch Perfect 2' While Promoting 'Bumper in Berlin'
Sarah Hyland shares a laugh with Adam Devine while leaving NBC studios in New York City on Wednesday (November 23).
The two actors are out promoting their new Peacock series, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, which debuted this week on the streaming network.
While promoting the series, Sarah revealed that she did audition for the second movie in the film franchise, but learned that she “was just a little bit too short” for the movie, apparently. “That was the only reason that I heard.”
In a separate interview, Sarah and Adam also opened up about reuniting on screen for the first time since their Modern Family days.

“I personally think it was so easy,” Sarah shared with TheWrap about working with Adam again. “I mean, we have such chemistry, and we’re such good friends outside for so long now, that like, we have that trust and vulnerability with each other. And we’re really good at staring into each other’s eyes lovingly, but also confused about what the other is thinking. So it was good, we’re real good at that.”
Adam adds that they “mastered” that early on: “It might be hard for Sarah, but it’s pretty easy for me.”
The previous night, Sarah and Adam were seen with co-star Flula Borg, rehearsing for their performance for Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
