Al Roker is sadly missing from the 2022 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Fans eager to tune in and watch the beloved 68-year-old co-host of the parade, who usually appears every year, only to learn that he is not appearing during the broadcast on Thursday (November 24).

During the broadcast, it was revealed why Al Roker is not hosting the parade for the first time.

Due to a health complication last week, Al will not be at the event. If you didn’t know, he was hospitalized days ago for blood clots in his legs and lungs. We are wishing the best to him in his recovery. Get well soon!

As a result, Dylan Dreyer is filling in for Al this morning, making this the first parade telecast co-hosted by all women.
