In the final episode of the first season, Bumper was able to perform at Unity Day alongside his friends – but it comes at a price for not only him, but Sarah Hyland‘s Heidi, too.

For him, he had to enter into a fake marriage with Thea in order to avoid deportation, and then for Heidi, the performance also earns her a new job in Los Angeles.

Following the episode, both Adam and executive producer Megan Amram spoke about a possible season two.

“I have some ideas for Season 2,” Megan shared with TVLine. “It’s hard to not play the game of planning ahead. I do love the idea of Bumper competing on the Olympics team, throwing javelin for Germany or something. Who knows, anything could happen!”

Adam added that the twists “set us up for a great ‘What will happen in Season 2?’

“I would love to do it for a few more seasons, give the people what they want and live in this Pitch Perfect world,” he added. “It’s a dream come true to be able to do. And to work with Sarah [Hyland] again was pretty unreal.”

Check out what Sarah and Adam teased of the series this week.
