The New York Daily News reports that a suspect has been charged with dumping the body, but the suspect was allegedly not involved in the death.

Driver Steven Smith allegedly loaded the body into a car that belonged to Frank‘s body and then dumped the body onto the street. He reportedly told cops, “That dude was dead already. He overdosed. I didn’t have anything to do with that.”

He added, “I got the body out by pulling him out of the car on the floor. I don’t know the guy at all.”

Frank‘s brother Nick Vallelonga won two Academy Awards for writing and producing Green Book.

We send our thoughts and condolences to Frank‘s loved ones during this difficult time.
