Prince William & Kate Middleton Sit Courtside at Celtics Game in Boston

Prince William and Kate Middleton are spending the first night of their Boston trip at a basketball game!

The Prince and Princess of Wales made a surprise appearance at the Boston Celtics game versus the Miami Heat on Wednesday night (November 30) at the TD Garden in Boston, Mass.

Will and Kate, both 40, sat courtside with former professional basketball player and Massachusetts Governor-Elect Maura Healey, Celtics legend Thomas “Satch” Sanders, and the team’s two principal owners and their wives.

The Royal Couple landed in Boston earlier that day for a three-day trip where they will learn about the environmental challenges Boston faces, as well as meeting those who are combating the effects of climate change in the area.

On Friday, December 2, Will and Kate will be attending the 2022 Earthshot Prize Awards in Boston. Find out who will be performing at the ceremony!
