Elon Musk Explains Why Kanye West Was Suspended from Twitter After December 1 Rant

Elon Musk is speaking out after rapper Kanye West was suspended from Twitter following a rant on Thursday night (December 1).

Kanye wrote a bunch of tweets that evening, including ones where he accused ex-wife Kim Kardashian of having affair, defended fashion brand Balenciaga amid their controversy, and spoke out against pornography. Read all of the tweets here.

There was another tweet that caused Kanye to be removed from the social media app, but it appears the suspension will only last 12 hours.

Kanye was suspended from Twitter after posting a photo of a swastika inside a star of David. “YE24 LOVE EVERYONE #Lovespeech,” he captoned the post.

Someone tweeted to Elon and wrote, “ELON FIX KANYE PLEASE.

“I tried my best. Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended,” Musk responded.

Kanye went on the Trump-owned Truth Social shortly after the suspension and revealed his account would be back within 12 hours.
