Nick Carter Talks Getting Support from Backstreet Boys Bandmates After Brother Aaron's Death

Nick Carter is opening up about getting support after his brother Aaron Carter‘s death.

Early last month, the “I Want Candy” singer tragically passed away at the age of 34.

Just a day after Aaron‘s death, Nick, 42, and his Backstreet Boys bandmates took to the stage for a concert at the O2 Arena in London where they paid tribute to Aaron.

During the show, Nick broke down in tears as bandmate Kevin Richardson took a moment during the show to share a touching message about Aaron. That’s when Nick‘s other three bandmates – A.J. McLean, Brian Littrell, and Howie Dorough – embraced him in a hug.

In new interview, Nick opened up about all the support he’s getting from the Backstreet Boys and their fans in the wake of Aaron‘s death.

“It was very emotional for me, having my guys with me. That night, it was tough to get up on stage,” Nick told Extra.

“There’s the old saying the show must go on, that’s been with us for years, but that night, I didn’t know what to expect, I didn’t know what was going to come from it, getting on that stage,” Nick continued. “Getting the reaction from the fans, it was definitely comforting, and it meant a lot to me.”
