Christina Ricci Says She Sold Her Chanel Collection To Help Finance James Heerdegen Divorce

Christina Ricci opened up about one of the ways that she financed her divorce from James Heerdegen.

The 42-year-old actress filed to divorce James in 2020 after she was granted a protective order stemming from domestic abuse accusations.

During a recent interview, she implied that she turned her Chanel collection into a different sort of investment to help pay for the legal proceedings.

During an interview with The Sunday Times, Christina explained that she used to collect Chanel handbags and fine jewelry but later sold it off.

“Well, certain traumas in life go along with financial traumas, extended court situations, custody situations, fighting restraining orders,” she said when asked why she gave up the collection. “Having said that, I’m absolutely doing fine, there’s no issue. But I learnt to use these investment pieces in different ways. I also had a Chanel Fine Jewellery collection that I put to good use.”
