‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery’ Could Return To Theaters If Director Rian Johnson Gets His Way

Netflix just dropped all the character posters for Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery!

Daniel Craig, Kate Hudson, Leslie Odom, Jr., Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Jessica Henwick, and Madelyn Cline all star in the flick, which centers on detective Benoit Blanc, who heads to Greece to peel back the layers of a mystery surrounding a tech billionaire and his eclectic crew of friends.

Just recently, director Rian Johnson opened up about getting the movie back into theaters.

“Any theaters we can get it into at any point I’m pushing for,” Rian shared in an interview with Insider. “I want more people to have the opportunity to be able to watch it.”

Glass Onion originally debuted in about 600 screens in North America on November 23 for a limited, one-week engagement.

“Once it’s on the service it will be available to theatres and we’re exploring what form that can take,” he explained. “I’ll take as much as I can possibly get. But a lot of that has to do with what the theatres are willing to do, what makes sense.”

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery will hit Netflix on Christmas Day, December 25.
