Kate Winslet Opens Up About Working With Daughter Mia Threapleton: 'I Was Blown Away'
Kate Winslet is opening up about her daughter, Mia Threapleton, in a new interview.
If you don’t know, the two are starring in their first ever project together for Channel 4′s I Am series.
Speaking with BBC One’s Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg, Kate raved about Mia‘s performance, revealing she’s been blown away by her daughter’s talent.

“Actually, I was just so blown away by her,” Kate admitted on the program, adding that “she didn’t need my help at all.”
She continued, “Sometimes I could introduce her to a technical trick here and there. Just little things I picked up along the way, like changing an eye line … Little things like that, that no one teaches you. And she appreciated that stuff.”
However, Mia already knew how her actual acting performance was going to go and was confident in her skills: “There were times when I would say, ‘Can I just one…’ ‘No, no, no, I’m good.’”
Kate also shared that she and Mia had “the added bonus of knowing how to push each other’s buttons, which I can tell you we can do quite well and definitely lent on that resource considerably when we were filming.”
