Kyrie Irving did not appear upset about losing a long-running deal with Nike when he took to the court for his latest game with the Brooklyn Nets.
The 30-year-old NBA star seemingly made a pointed statement about the news on Wednesday (December 7) during a game at Barclays Center in New York City.

Both of Kyrie‘s shoes had what appeared to be black tape over Nike’s logo.
He scratched the phrase “I am free Thank you God … I am” on one shoe. The other read “Logo here.”
Nike officially parted ways with Kyrie earlier this week. The decision was announced after the sportswear company put their relationship with him on pause for promoting antisemitic content. He first partnered with Nike in 2014 and was supposed to remain under contract until late 2023.
Kyrie was also suspended from his team until he issued a formal apology.
