Reese Witherspoon‘s movie is getting a sequel!

Election, the beloved Alexander Payne-directed 1999 film about a high school teacher who meets his match in an over-achieving student politician, is getting a follow-up from Paramount Pictures, and it’s already got a title.

The original director is returning to direct again, and lead Reese will produce and reprise her starring role!

The movie is called Tracy Flick Can’t Win, based on a follow-up novel by author Tom Perrotta.

“It’s another satirical dark comedy that finds the eponymous Tracy in adulthood and still struggling to fight her way to the top,” Deadline reports.

The director is once again adapting the screenplay with Jim Taylor. Reese and Lauren Neustadter will produce the film for Hello Sunshine, a Candle Media company. Stay tuned for release date and casting details!
