Queer – which is follow up to William‘s novel Junkie – follows “Lee, who recounts his life in Mexico City among American expatriate college students and bar owners surviving on part-time jobs and GI Bill benefits. Lee is self-conscious, insecure and driven to pursue a young man named Allerton,” according Deadline.
The character of Allerton is believed to be based on a discharged Navy serviceman that William met in Mexico City.
Luca is currently in the process of raising finances for the project.
