Gayle King is sharing her thoughts on Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes‘ affair.

On Thursday night (December 8), the 67-year-old CBS Mornings anchor appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen where she was asked about how “all hell has broken loose” on GMA3 after the co-anchors’ affair was made public.

“Oh gosh, of all the questions I was hoping you would not talk about,” Gayle started. “I mean, I look at the situation and I do say it’s very interesting what’s happening over there.”

Last week, it was reported that the GMA3 co-anchors were in a romantic relationship while they were both legally married.

At the beginning of this week, it was announced that T.J. and Amy had been put on an indefinite hiatus by ABC amid all of the rumors and gossip. As of right now, it’s unclear when and if they will return to hosting GMA3.

“It’s just gotten very messy and very sloppy. I do think that,” Gayle said. “You know, because in the beginning I actually thought — listen, good on Good Morning America, they’re saying that they’re not taking them off the air, two consenting adults. But then the more you read, it’s just very messy.”

She continued, “To me, it’s a sad situation because you’ve got kids involved, you’ve got families involved and I keep thinking about that. I’m very concerned about that.”
