Meghan Markle's Half Siblings React To Netflix Docu-Series; Call Her Claims About Them 'Lies'

Meghan Markle‘s half siblings are speaking out about her new Netflix documentary with husband Prince Harry.

Samantha Markle and Thomas Markle, Jr. spoke to a news outlet following the release of the first three episodes of the project, calling the Duchess of Sussex out over the claims made in it.

In the documentary, Harry spoke of Meghan‘s rift with her family, blaming himself for it.

“If Meg wasn’t with me then her Dad would still be her Dad,” he said. “She had a Father before this and now she doesn’t have a Father. And I shouldered that.”

His comment didn’t sit well with Thomas, Meghan‘s half-brother.

Speaking on Talk TV, he said that he thinks “it’s horrible. The documentary is so far off on so many different levels, it’s really a little bit disturbing. Saying that she doesn’t have a family and she doesn’t have a Father, and Harry saying that she has no Father now, that’s just ridiculous.”

He also said that he’s now working on his own documentary to clear their family from the claims.

“She just basically brushed the entire family under the carpet like we don’t exist, and then lied about not having a family, and lied about she doesn’t have a family that she’s always wanted,” he says. “We’ve always been here. The documentary is way off. That’s what’s actually prompted me to work with my own production team and coming out in like 2023 our side of a documentary that’s going to shed a lot of light that needs to be shed.”

Thomas went on, “The amount of unprecedented files, photos and videos and documentation that we’re going to be including in our documentary — it’s going to tell a whole different story. I think the general public in the UK and America knows that now the Markles aren’t bad people, we’re just like a normal family like everybody else. We do exist, and when one person tells lies, this is what happens — you end up looking ridiculous.”

On her part, Samantha (who has been very vocal in the past about Meghan), also spoke to a news outlet, GB News, about the episodes.

She focused in on Meghan making the decision to un-invite Samantha‘s estranged daughter, Ashleigh Hale, to their wedding in 2018.

“Ashleigh was lied to and my sister in fact was the one reportedly who told Ashley she couldn’t go to the wedding,” Samantha said. “So I felt like she was manipulating my daughter, and that’s really sad because my daughter seemingly was holding a grudge and feeling like I was the reason she couldn’t come to the wedding.”

In the documentary, Ashleigh said that she was told by Meghan she could not attend because of her strained relationship with Samantha and ‘guidance’ from the Palace.

“I think I said I was hurt on some level, but I understood where it was coming from,” she said.
