‘Avatar 2’ Cast: Eight Actors Returning From First Film, Three Stars Are Not Coming Back

Avatar: The Way of Water is finally hitting theaters this weekend and it features most of the main cast of the first film, despite some of their characters not surviving.

There are some actors who are returning to the movie either as a new character or in a new way.

Sadly, some of the original cast members won’t be back at all.

Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, Avatar: The Way of Water begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.
