Donald‘s new Spider-Man project will take place in Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man cannon and is written by Myles Murphy, Eddie Murphy‘s son, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The villain is a much lesser-known one. However, he makes sense for Donald to play since he has a musical component to his criminal misdeeds.
A title for the movie hasn’t been released yet, and most details are kept under wraps. However, it has been reported that the actor was excited by the fact that Hypno-Hustler is less well known.
It remains to be seen if the new movie will take place in the same world as Tom Hardy‘s Venom and Jared Leto‘s Morbius.
Donald is also attached to a reimaging of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s Mr. & Mrs. Smith at Amazon Prime Video. Check out pics from the set here.
