Salma Hayek Teases Her Lap Dance With Channing Tatum in 'Magic Mike's Last Dance'

Salma Hayek is opening up about working with Channing Tatum in Magic Mike’s Last Dance, and dishing new intel about the lap dance featured in the first trailer.

Here’s a quick summary of the upcoming movie: “Magic” Mike Lane (Tatum) takes to the stage again after a lengthy hiatus, following a business deal that went bust, leaving him broke and taking bartender gigs in Florida. For what he hopes will be one last hurrah, Mike heads to London with a wealthy socialite (Hayek) who lures him with an offer he can’t refuse…and an agenda all her own.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight recently, Salma revealed that the lap dance was actually “physically challenging” for her.

“It’s very physically challenging,” she shared. “My goodness. You just wait to see. It’s just complicated.”

Salma couldn’t say much about her role, but does say that she plays a “strong woman.”

“You know what was my day going into the office? I would just sit around and watch, like, 12 men, semi-naked dancing and doing pirouettes. And I got to boss them around.”

Ayub Khan Din, Jemelia George, Juliette Motamed, and Vicki Pepperdine also star.

The film hits theaters on February 10, 2023.
