Kelsea Ballerini Knows Holidays Bring Up 'Big, Hard Feelings' After Finalizing Divorce

Kelsea Ballerini is encouraging you to feel your feelings, especially after reflecting on her divorce.

The 29-year-old country singer and Morgan Evans announced their divorce in August 2022 after almost five years of marriage and then finalized their divorce on November 15.

“hi. sending you a hug. holidays can be both a beautiful time and also bring up some big, hard feelings. don’t forget it’s okay to feel it all,” Kelsea said on Instagram.

She added, “protect those precious hearts bbs and merry christmas week. 🫶”

Last week, Kelsea admitted it would have been a “disservice” to both her and to Morgan to continue their marriage knowing the issues they were having.

“At the end of the day, it is such a disservice and a dishonoring of yourself if you know something is not right and you stay,” Kelsea shared. “[Shame] is the one thing that I just refuse to feel… Judge me for it, fine, that’s on you.”
