Sam Asghari Breaks His Silence On Rumors He's Controlling Britney Spears & Reveals What He Thinks Of Her Fans

Sam Asghari addressed the rumors that he’s controlling Britney Spears.

Since the 41-year-old “Overprotected” pop star has been freed from her conservatorship, a subset of fans have popularized the conspiracy theory she’s still being controlled. Some think that her 28-year-old husband is calling the shots.

While out, a paparazzi asked Sam to clear the air, and he denied the rumor. He also revealed what he really thinks about Britney‘s fans.

Sam told the photog that he is not in control of Britney. In fact, he took it a step further.

“I don’t even control what we have for dinner,” he joked.

Do the rumors upset him or make him think less of her fans? By the sounds of it, no.

“In the past there has been a lot of stuff going on so I understand where they’re coming from,” he explained. “They’re just being protective. If anything they’re being good fans.”

Sam has previously revealed how he feels about his wife’s topless Instagram posts. He also addressed questions about her presence on the social media app and why she doesn’t attend formal events with him.

Around Britney‘s birthday, he also made it clear that she controls the content that goes up on her account.
