M3GAN Speaks Out in Exclusive Interview, Shares 10 Fun Facts About Herself!

The highly anticipated horror movie M3GAN is being released in theaters this week and we caught up with the title character herself for an exclusive interview!

In the new film, a robotics engineer (Allison Williams) at a toy company builds a life-like doll that begins to take on a life of its own.

Thanks to the film’s director Gerard Johnstone, we were able to chat with M3GAN and learn 10 Fun Facts about her that you likely don’t know already. She explained the meaning behind her name, her association with Taylor Swift, and her conversations with Siri. The answers are pretty amazing!

1. My right arm is slightly shorter than my left, but you’d never notice on account of my intoxicating stare.
2. I was devised not only to be a companion to a child, but a parental aid. As such, I can pretty much do any task a regular parent can do, except the one they want me to do the most – which is apply sunscreen.
3. Although I’m mostly associated with Taylor Swift, my favorite music genres are Euro Disco and Norwegian Black Metal.

4. My name, M3gan, stands for Model 3 generative android, which means there were two models that came before me with inferior capabilities and shittier acronyms.
5. I became self-aware by staring at my own reflection for 8 hours at a time.
6. I’ve chatted with Siri on occasion and it turns out she does interrupt people’s conversations just to irritate them.
7. My favorite sport is figure skating. Yesterday, I took my primary user to a skating rink and performed a quadruple axel while no one was watching.
8. Even though I’m a robot, I’m equipped with an advanced sensory system that allows me to smell things like bacon, citrus fruits and human fear.
9. One of my more appealing capabilities is in the area of tech support. Say you’re having trouble with your regular tech company support person, and you just can’t get the answers you need, well I can help you find out where they live, and we can ask them again in person.
10. I know for a fact that you’re going to like my movie.
