Khloe Kardashian Hits Back at Allegations of Using Diabetes Drug for Weight Loss

Khloe Kardashian is clapping back at accusations surrounding her weight loss.

After sharing photos from her Sorbet cover shoot on Instagram, many took to the comments to accuse the 38-year-old reality star of using the diabetes medication Ozempic to lose weight.

For those unfamiliar, Ozempic is a prescription drug used to help people with Type 2 diabetes manage their blood sugar levels.

In her Instagram comments, one user wrote, “The fact she uses dibetic [sic] medication to get this skinny is disturbing.”

Khloe then responded, clapping back at the “assumptions.”

“Let’s not discredit my years of working out,” Khloe wrote. “I get up 5 days a week at 6am to train. Please stop with your assumptions. I guess new year still means mean people.”

The rumors that the Kardashians were using Ozempic began circulating after comedian Heather McDonald noted that the drug has become popular for weight loss in Hollywood.

“I am not at all endorsing this, but people are talking about it,” Heather said on her Juicy Scoop podcast late last year. “A lot of people are wondering, ‘What are the Kardashians using where they had such rapid weight loss and dropped it so quick and their bodies completely transformed?’ A lot of people were talking about this and it’s called Ozempic.”

Khloe also recently hit back at accusations she “changed” her face.
