Shooting on Set of French Montana Music Video Leaves 'Multiple People' Injured

A shooting took place on set of French Montana‘s upcoming music video.

On Thursday night (January 5) around 8pm ET, a shooting took place in the parking lot of The Licking restaurant in Miami Gardens, Florida where the 38-year-old rapper was filming a music video with Rob49.

According to CBS4, the Miami Gardens Police Department confirmed that “multiple people” were shot, and at least four victims required air rescue and were flown to Jackson Memorial Hospital. As of right now, their conditions are unknown.

“There were multiple shots fired, it sounded like an assault rifle,” Ced Mogul, who witnessed the incident, told the news organization.

Ced went on to say that there were at 10 to 15 gunshots and people on set started scattering.

When we heard the gunshots… people started running, some people had blood on their shirts, some people were crying on the ground,” Ced said. “It’s just tragic.”

As of right now, it’s unclear if French Montana was injured during the incident, but one witness said it appeared the rapper’s security guard got him out of the line of fire.

Police said that they believe that the shooting was an isolated incident, and it’s currently unclear if any suspects have been taken into custody yet.
