Tristan Thompson's Mom Dies Suddenly, Khloe Kardashian By His Side in Difficult Time

Tristan Thompson is suffering a tragic loss.

The 31-year-old basketball player is mourning the death of his mom Andrea, who suddenly died after suffering a heart attack at her home on Thursday (January 5) in Toronto.

TMZ‘s sources say that Andrea was rushed to a local hospital and despite efforts to resuscitate her, she didn’t make it.

Tristan‘s ex Khloe Kardashian is standing by his side in this difficult time.

There are photos of the former couple touching down in Toronto on a private plane, hours after Andrea was rushed to the hospital.

For those who don’t know, Khloe and Tristan share two children together – four-year-old daughter True and a son who was born in August 2022 via surrogate.

Tristan was very close with his mother and shared photos and videos with her on Instagram.

On Mother’s Day in 2020, he shared the below video with the caption, “Happy Mother’s Day Mommy! One day isn’t enough to praise and lift you high. Everyday is your day. Thank you for all the sacrifices you made for me and my brothers. I love you and I’m soo lucky to have been chosen as your son❤️. Not all superheroes wear capes.”
