“I’m very proud and very happy to be here,” Romeo said in a clip posted on the Brentford website. “I came here at the start to keep fit during the off-season. The chance then came to come on loan here, and I’ve never been so excited.”

Romeo will join his new teammates on Brentwood’s reserve team where they will be playing in the Premier League Cup and in overseas matches.

Romeo made 20 appearances for Inter II last season playing in the MLS NEXT Pro league, and contributed 10 assists – the most in the league – as well as two goals. David is a co-owner of Inter Miami.

“It was a fun season [in the USA] and there were a lot of ups and downs but I’m excited to come here and see what I can do,” Romeo added. “I love how we have the opportunity to play at different levels, both abroad and here.”

Romeo is David and Victoria‘s second child. They are also parents to sons Brooklyn, 23, and Cruz, 17, and daughter Harper, 11.

Congrats Romeo!
