'M3GAN' On Track to Make Double It's Production Budget In Opening Weekend - Check Out How Much Money It Will Make!

M3GAN is horrifying viewers in theaters by the masses, and it’s on track to outperform box office expectations.

The horror movie arrived in theaters on January 6, and it is expected to make more than double its production budget in the first weekend of release.

According to figures by Variety, M3GAN could open with $27 million in domestic sales. That’s against a reported $12 million production budget!

The outlet noted that M3GAN will debut at the number 2 spot behind Avatar: The Way of Water, which is expected to net between $35 million and $43 million.

However, the horror movie is outpacing predictions of a $17 million to $20 million opening weekend.

If things go according to plan, it’ll be the first movie to make more than $20 million in a January opening weekend since 2018. Interestingly, it was horror movie Insidious: The Last Key that pulled off the feat back then.
