Meghan Markle Book? A New Prince Harry Revelation Suggests Whether She'll Have a Memoir of Her Own

Prince Harry is opening up like never before in his new book Spare, and now there are questions about whether his wife Meghan Markle will be doing the same.

The 41-year-old Duchess of Sussex kept a diary during her years navigating the royal family, the 38-year-old Duke of Sussex confirmed in the latest revelation from his book.

In the memoir, via Daily Mail, Harry wrote that Meghan journaled about the birth of daughter Lilibet.

“She jotted some thoughts in a kind of journal. Which she shared. I read them as a love poem. I read them as a testament, a renewal of our vows,” he wrote.

“I read them as a citation, a remembrance, a proclamation.”

Now, it’s thought that Meghan‘s memoir may be part of their four-book deal with Penguin Random House.

Meghan previously wrote children’s book The Bench, with Spare following in the deal. A health and wellness guide is reportedly in the works as their third book, with the fourth possibly being her autobiography.

“Meghan has always kept diaries, from the time she was a child. Harry saying she kept a journal is unsurprising. She has journaled all her life. It would make total sense for Meghan to do her own book and base it on diaries she kept during her time in the Royal Family,” a source told the outlet.

The source also suggested that Meghan may be the one to discuss the allegations of racism within the family if she were to write a book.

“Because of the shocking nature of that claim, a story which everyone around the world was talking about and still talks about, it was assumed that Harry would address the incident in Spare. It’s one of the main stories in their narrative and it’s the one question everyone wants an answer to. Which member of the royal family questioned the colour of Archie‘s skin? But there is not a single word about it in Spare,” the source said.

“The assumption in the publishing world is that he must have left it out of his book to allow Meghan to have as a bombshell for her book. Harry barely addresses racism in Spare. That feels calculated. Meghan will have a clear run at addressing all the alleged racism.”

His book did, however, contain a ton of other bombshell allegations.
