Montecito Evacuation 2023: Celebrities Who Own Homes in the Area

The Santa Barbara County Office of Emergency Management has instructed residents of Montecito, California to evacuate due to massive rains and strong winds that have caused flooding and hazards.

The storm has killed 12 people in 10 days, and now, officials are trying to keep everyone safe with an evacuation order.

The Montecito Fire Department sent out a message to residents, saying, “LEAVE NOW!”

Ellen DeGeneres is one of the residents of the area, which is about 90 miles from Los Angeles. She posted a video of the devastation she was seeing, but clarified that she did not have to evacuate because she was on higher ground.
