Charli XCX Jokes About Her Chances Against Harry Styles & Dua Lipa at BRIT Awards 2023 & Becoming EGOT Winner
Charli XCX is confident in her chances going into the 2023 BRIT Awards.
The 30-year-old Crash pop phenom is nominated for Best Pop/R&B Act at the awards show, which takes place on February 11. Her competition in the category includes Harry Styles and Dua Lipa, which she joked about in a new video on TikTok.
She also responded to a fan championing her becoming an eventual EGOT holder.

“So I got nominated for a BRIT,” Charli announced in a video of herself diving into bed. “Harry Styles and Dua Lipa are in my category so we got this.”
“egot alert! one step closer,” she captioned the clip.
If you weren’t aware, you become an EGOT holder when you win an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony. On Twitter earlier this week Charli responded to a fan who told her she was only four awards away from achieving the coveted status.
“It’s close… i feel it,” she cheekily tweeted.
The hitmaker recently shared a photo from a hospital bed.
