'Glee' Star Blake Jenner Enters Plea After DUI Charge

Blake Jenner is pleading no contest.

The 30-year-old actor, who won the second season of Oxygen’s The Glee Project and played Ryder Lynn on Glee, entered the plea regarding his DUI charge in a deal that will allow him to receive no jail time, according to new court documents.

Blake was arrested back in July while driving through California, reportedly failing to stop at a red light.

The Blast reports that he pled no contest to the second charge of his DUI case, which consisted of two separate charges. The first was driving under the influence, which was dismissed in the plea negotiation.

He was convicted and pleaded no contest to “Driving With A Blood Alcohol Content Of 0.08 Percent Or Higher.”

He had two previous criminal cases: once in 2015 for driving without proof of insurance and driving with a suspended driver’s license. At the time, he pled no contest to “driving without a valid driver’s license.”

One year before, he was arrested for another DUI. He eventually pleaded no contest to a “reckless driving” charge and the other charges against him were dropped.

Since he was off probation when he was arrested in July of 2022, he did not face a harsher sentencing.

For his most recent DUI, Blake was sentenced to five years of summary probation, and will need to “enroll and participate in and successfully complete an 18-month licensed second-offender alcohol and other drug education and counseling program.” He will not be going to jail.

Blake is scheduled to appear in court again on February 3, where he will need to show proof of enrollment in the program.
