Hulu Cancels 'Reboot' Series After Just One Season But There Are Plans To Shop It Elsewhere

Hulu has made the decision to cancel Reboot just after one season.

Deadline reports that the streamer pulled the plug on the series after also axing three other shows.

However, the outlet reports that the series could be shopped elsewhere.

Deadline says that series creator Steven Levitan, who was also behind Modern Family, plans to see which other network would pick it up for an additional season.

It added that “another streamer has asked to read scripts from season two of the Twentieth TV comedy.”

Reboot centered on a fictional Hulu writing team bringing back a beloved family comedy from the early 2000s, “forcing its dysfunctional cast back together. Now they must deal with their unresolved issues in today’s fast-changing world.”

The show starred Keegan-Michael Key, Johnny Knoxville, Judy Greer, Rachel Bloom, Calum Worthy, Krista Marie Yu and Paul Reiser.
