Morgan Wallen Readies New Album 'One Thing at a Time,' Featuring an Unbelievable Number of Tracks, Shares 3 New Songs Ahead of Release Date

Morgan Wallen is gearing up to drop a new album, and it is going to be a long one.

The 29-year-old country singer took to social media to confirm that his third album One Thing at a Time would arrive on March 3.

Fans of the controversial star had better prepare for a lengthy listen, though. Morgan let them know that the project features a staggering 36 new songs.

“This announcement has been a long time coming,” he wrote on Instagram. Morgan shared three of his new songs shortly thereafter. That includes “I Wrote the Book,” “Everything I Love” and “Last Night.”

One Thing at a Time follows Morgan‘s 2021 Dangerous: The Double Album. The album became a best-seller upon release.

However, Morgan had his record deal suspended “indefinitely” and was unable to be nominated at the 2021 ACM Awards after a video surfaced of him using a racial slur, for which he apologized.

Despite the controversy, Morgan won Album of the Year at the 2022 ACM Awards and fronted one of the highest-grossing concert tours of the year.

“This record represents the last few years of my life, the highs and the lows,” he said of the release in a statement shared with ET Canada. “It also brings together the musical influences that have shaped me as an artist – country, alternative and hip-hop. There are 36 songs on this album because we just kept exploring with fresh lyrics, music and production ideas and these are the songs that felt right to me.”

It remains to be seen if and how he will respond to his past controversies on his new release.
