Philadelphia Eagles' Josh Sills Indicted for Rape & Kidnapping Charges, Team Releases Statement in Response

Josh Sills, an offensive lineman for the Philadelphia Eagles, has been indicted on charges of rape and kidnapping.
The 25-year-old athlete is being accused of raping a woman and also holding her against her will on December 5, 2019. The alleged crime took place in Guernsey County in Ohio.
The indictment makes it clear that he faces felony charges of rape and kidnapping in the state of Ohio.

The Eagles organization just released a statement to TMZ, saying, “The organization is aware of the legal matter involving Josh Sills. We have been in communication with the league office and are in the process of gathering more information. We have no further comment at this time.”
The Eagles are supposed to compete in the 2023 Super Bowl on February 12. It’s unclear if Sills will still be on the team at that time.
