Tom Brady Announces He Is Officially Retiring 'For Good'

Tom Brady is calling it a day again, this time for good.

The 45-year-old NFL player confirmed that he’s retiring in a post to social media on Wednesday (February 1).

“I’m retiring – for good. I know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning I figured I’d just press record and let you guys know first,” he said.

“It won’t be long-winded. You only get one super emotional retirement essay and I used mine up last year. Thank you to every single one of you for supporting me – my family, my friends, my team-mates, my competitors. I could go on forever – there’s too many.

“Thank you for allowing me to live my absolute dream, I wouldn’t change a thing. Love you all,” he continued.

Tom Brady is retiring after 23 seasons. If you’ll recall, he originally announced he was retiring in 2022, then reversed the decision.

He had just given an expletive-filled answer on his podcast about when he might retire for good.
