Ashton Kutcher Talks Return to Rom-Coms After 12 Year Break

Ashton Kutcher is starring in his first rom-com in over a decade!

The 44-year-old actor stars in the upcoming Netflix movie Your Place or Mine opposite Reese Witherspoon.

The last time he starred in a rom-com was back in 2011 when he starred in No Strings Attached with Natalie Portman.

In a new interview, Ashton explained why he decided to start filming rom-coms again.

“Honestly, I think I had more fun shooting this movie than I ever had,” Ashton shared with Variety. “It was genuinely a choice. I didn’t need to do it. I didn’t have to do it. It wasn’t like a career-building block. It was like, ‘I want to do this.”

Ashton also gushed over getting to work with Reese.

“I got to be in scenes across from a genuine movie star,” Ashton said. “She’s such a movie star. It was so wonderful and fun and funny and light. There was never a dark day. There was never a day that everything went wrong. I got spoiled.”
